I think the man vs. man conflict is Katniss vs. the careers, also known as the tributes from districts one, two, and four. They are against her because she got the top score out of everyone. The careers are trained from birth for the games and got very angry when they are out scored or out trained. Their first priority is always to take out other people as a team then take out each other. Katniss tries her hardest to stay away from them but doesnt succeed.
Man vs. Nature
The man vs. nature conflict is the tributes vs. the water scarcity. This was used against the kids because they had to find one of the few pools of water. The only problem was that not everyone could have their own so there was going to be some fighting. If the kids stayed at their pool then they could just sit and wait then shoot anyone or anything that comes by. Then they would have food and water, but then they can easily be killed.
Man vs. Society
The man vs.society conflict is Katniss vs. the government, because the entire book the government pretty much targets Katniss because of where she is from. The Capitol does not care about the people of District twelve because they don't do much for the Capitol. They see District twelve as a place to get kids for their entertainment, they never expect anything from them except for them to be killed. When the Capitol first realized that they had to make the games more exciting they targeted Katniss first. The biggest thing that really made it man vs. society was when Katniss defied the Capitol with the berries, but that wasen't the only time that she defied the Capitol. She also defied them when she covered Rue with flowers.
Man vs. Self
I think the main man vs. self conflict was Katniss vs.Katniss, because she was always fighting her feelings for Peeta. Katniss loved Gale and Peeta but wouldn't admit it to herself. She was always fighting her feelings for Peeta, because she thought it would be easier to kill him or let him be killed. But at the the end of the book she relized that she loved Peeta and couldn't let him be killed. So in the end I guess that Katniss won.( L.O.L.)
